And that makes three for the Click!

The City of Namur has joined the ranks of the Click supporters. On 1 September, the various parties involved attended a press conference in the heart of Namur to launch the project and introduce the city’s first Click bins together.

After Antwerp on 1 July and De Haan on 14 July, the capital of Wallonia has now decided to embark on this project. To date, over 1,000 people already use the app and receive Circular UCoins as a reward for throwing the correct waste in the appropriate bin and for picking up litter.

Charlotte Deborsu, councillor in charge of Public Cleanliness, stressed the positive effects of this waste management collaboration. The city very clearly wants to bring about a change in mindset to fight litter and ensure that its streets and public spaces are kept clean and tidy.

Namur mayor Maxime Prévot sees only advantages, both for the cleanliness of the city and in terms of support for the local economy.

Patrick Laevers, Managing Director at Fost Plus, confirmed that Fost Plus aims to ensure that all packaging can be recycled, in particular through this type of initiative.
