The Walloon Region festivities make the Click!
Wallonia was in full holiday mode this weekend, with all that entails for consumption outside the home! To manage and recycle packaging, the Walloon capital, Namur, took the opportunity to make the Click throughout the festivities.
All weekend long, the participants “clicked”, scanned their waste and collected the well-known virtual CircularUCoins that they could exchange for special offers at local merchants. Haven't spent them all? No problem, the virtual coin remains valid at all local merchants involved in the Click. Promotional teams were on site to explain the Click and encourage people to participate.
The pink rubbish bins with the Click logo, in place since 1 September, have already attracted attention and generated clicks on the app. But this weekend, the Click saw a veritable leap forward, thanks to the massive participation of the Walloons: more than 535 new registrations in just 3 days!
Other municipalities, whose representatives enjoyed the holiday in Namur, have also expressed an interest in the Click. Keep an eye out for the pink rubbish bins and get ready to install the app.
