Pre-sorting removes PMD from public bins

Fost Plus has set up pre-sorting projects to remove PMD packaging from public bins. To achieve this, it is working with Bruco Sambreville’s pre-sorting centre. The aim is to separate PMD and recyclable packaging from residual waste, which will eventually be incinerated. This allows us to recover more food and drinks packaging. Pre-sorting is already happening in several cities and municipalities, including Charleroi.
